Communication Industries College is our ongoing product and professional skills training program. This quality initiative program provides employees with all the tools needed to be a successful member of Team CIC. Classes are held on a variety of topics ranging from product and professional skill development to leadership skills, team building and effective communication.
The foundation of Communication Industries College is a three-part Basic Training Institute that mandatory for all new employees. This annual "boot camp" lays the foundation for continuing progress. The Basic Training Institute includes workshops on Team Building & Leadership Skills, Problem Solving Through Effective Communication, and Under-Promise, Over-Deliver.
Our ongoing Advanced Training Institute has included company-wide workshops on Team Building & Communication, Reach For The Stars, Problem Solving, and Trust And Empowerment.
Product and /Technical Training workshops are held several times each week and are taught by management and outside vendors. In addition, peer-taught product workshops are held monthly. These workshops address the applications, uses and technical aspects of the products we offer our customers.
Selling Skills Training includes basic and advanced workshops covering topics like inbound telephone sales skills/techniques, outbound telephone sales skills/techniques, stress management, and maximizing customer satisfaction.
Open Mic(rophone) is a monthly opportunity for everyone at Team CIC to get together for a positive and constructive open forum of questions and answers. Open Mic is a chance to learn more about what we do, where we're heading and get an update of the company's financial performance. Open Mic is a means to celebrate our successes, promote innovation, air our concerns, and provide opportunity for employee input and feedback.
